LOCAL VOICES.

Big Reach.

The best person to tell your story may not be in your office—or even your city. Sometimes, they’re across the country. We go where the story is.

In the past six months alone, our video team captured human-centered stories across 12 states: Arkansas, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin. And whether we travel to the storyteller, or they come to us, their voices make an issue real, helping clients connect with audiences. Each story brings a local perspective, so campaigns can reach across states without sounding the same everywhere.

The work starts before the camera rolls: earn each storyteller’s trust and ask thoughtful questions. That’s how authentic moments become compelling content.

ONE CAMPAIGN.

Six States.

A campaign that works in one state won’t necessarily work in the next. Different laws, levels of support, and stakeholders mean you can't simply carry the same playbook across state lines.

For the Chronic Care Policy Alliance, the goal was to change perceptions of obesity and advocate for Medicaid coverage of obesity treatments. One ad couldn’t do it all, so we built a set of creative materials and a state-specific playbook.

Across six priority states—North Carolina, Illinois, Ohio, Colorado, Indiana, and Kentucky—the core message stayed the same: obesity is a chronic disease and should be treated as such.

But each state had different policy goals. Some states were working to expand Medicare coverage for obesity medications; others were protecting and restoring existing coverage. We tailored the creative to each state’s goals and audiences, adapting as the policy landscape changed.

The media mix varied by state, too, reaching policymakers where they were most likely to pay attention. Across the campaign, we used connected TV, digital video, audio, display, cable TV, print, local news sponsorships, out-of-home, and radio.

The message landed: three in four health policy leaders recalled key ad messages. The campaign results also showed a 12-point increase in the importance placed on access to obesity medicines and a 13% increase in familiarity with state Medicaid policy.

One core message. Six state-specific approaches. Creative, media, and insights working together—not in separate lanes.

HOUSTON,

We Have a Brand.

Narrative is growing. The people behind that growth, and how we work together, remain at the heart of what makes us different. Our 2026 offsite theme, “The Next Horizon: Minds Behind the Mission,” put that idea into orbit, celebrating the firm’s growth and the people making it happen.

Our Creative team gave the space-inspired theme a polished, playful, and unmistakably Narrative look. We started with logo concepts, then carried the design through presentations, schedules, signage, seating materials, partner collateral, and coloring sheets. Yes, coloring sheets. Together, those details made the offsite feel like one shared experience, and a place for colleagues to connect, learn from one another, and have some fun.

LESS GUESSING.

More Listening.

Want to know whether your campaign will connect? Ask the people you’re trying to persuade.

At Narrative, our Insights and Creative teams work together to test campaigns with real audiences. Their feedback helps us decide which creative moves forward, where it runs, and who it reaches.

A leading energy association needed that clarity as it started planning for 2027. With household costs rising and affordability a top concern for voters, the client needed to know how local communities viewed the industry and its members, and which messages resonated.

We led focus groups across the country to test existing creative and produced new materials to explore opportunities. Rather than simply testing finished ads, our findings informed the next round of creative, which generated further insights. We learned what stuck, what drew criticism, and where regional differences mattered.

The research gave us a clear view of how target audiences think and a firmer basis for deciding what to say and where to spend. Those insights help us tell a stronger story to stakeholders and policy influencers, reflecting audiences’ realities and differences between communities. The payoff is a smarter campaign, built to make every advocacy dollar work harder.
