Erin Murphy
Senior Director
Erin Murphy is a Senior Director on Narrative’s Insights team. She has spent over a decade as a research and intelligence strategist helping organizations understand public opinion, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and make data-driven decisions. Her work spans corporate reputation, public affairs, policy, and market intelligence, with a focus on translating research into actionable insights for senior leaders.
Most recently, Erin was a Senior Director of Intelligence at Penta Group, where she advised clients on emerging trends, reputational risks, and stakeholder perceptions. Before Penta, Erin was a Senior Director of Research Solutions at Morning Consult, where she led research initiatives for a diverse portfolio of clients, overseeing survey design, insights development, and strategic recommendations that informed business and communications decisions.
Earlier in her career, Erin worked at Public Opinion Strategies doing research for political, corporate, nonprofit, and advocacy clients. Prior to her research career, she worked on U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) 2016 presidential campaign and on Capitol Hill, gaining firsthand experience at the intersection of politics, policy, and public opinion.
Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the College of Charleston. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and daughter.
