Emily O'Connor
Strategic Communications Associate
Emily O'Connor serves as a Strategic Communications Associate, supporting healthcare clients across a range of communications and public affairs initiatives. Her work includes developing written deliverables, conducting research and media monitoring, and helping clients navigate complex policy and healthcare issues. Emily began her tenure at Narrative as a Strategic Communications Intern.
Before joining Narrative, Emily was a Communications Intern for U.S. Representative Cori Bush (D-MO-01), where she supported speechwriting, drafted social media content, and assisted with constituent-facing communications. Emily also interned with the White House Executive Office of Presidential Correspondence during the Biden Administration, helping manage and process incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the President.
Emily earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a Minor in Public Health, and her Master of Arts in Political Communication from American University. Outside of work, Emily enjoys running, playing the piano, and taking advantage of all the classic DC tourist activities the city has to offer.
