Connor James is a Senior Associate at Narrative, operating at the nexus of financial services and crisis communications. He advises Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, academic institutions, and coalitions as they navigate complex regulatory, legislative, and media environments.

Connor specializes in content and messaging development, third-party stakeholder engagement, legislative and policy analysis, and media intelligence. He brings extensive experience in crisis communications, including rapid-response execution, playbook development, scenario planning, and testimony and hearing preparation. Connor began his tenure with Narrative as an intern.

Prior to joining Narrative, Connor was a Creative Media intern for the Clemson University football team, where he produced content for the program’s social channels, team meetings, events, and recruitment efforts. Connor was also involved with Clemson’s student-led branding agency, Cadency.

Connor graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Minor in Brand Communications. Outside of work, Connor enjoys hiking, running, boating, and surfing, and is an avid Philly and Clemson sports fan.
