Christine Hennessey

Managing Director

Christine Hennessey brings nearly a decade of experience in senior communications roles in both the U.S. House and Senate to her role as a Managing Director at Narrative Strategies.

Most recently, Christine led the press shop for U.S. Senator Tom Carper (D-DE), where she developed, managed, and executed communications strategies that helped advance crucial tax, trade, health care, environmental and cybersecurity policies. Prior to her time in Senator Carper’s Washington, D.C. office, Christine served as press secretary for the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee and the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee (HSGAC). In 2019, Christine was elected by her peers as President of the U.S. Senate Press Secretaries Association (SPSA) – a bipartisan group of current and former Senate communicators.

Christine began her career on Capitol Hill working in the House of Representatives, originally for U.S. Representative Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ-06) and, later, as Press Secretary for the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee. She also previously served in a communications role for the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.

Christine is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross.
