WHAT'S INSIDE?
We took advocacy to Capitol Hill, offered our insights on rebranding with purpose, and welcomed new faces to the team.

NEED FOR SPEED: Public Affairs in Motion |
With the next surface transportation reauthorization bill moving quickly through Congress, the Transportation Construction Coalition (TCC) needed to move just as fast.
Narrative helped TCC build momentum in Washington around a clear message: infrastructure programs need certainty, and the people who build and rely on them cannot afford delay.
Our team launched an expansive public affairs campaign featuring updated branding, a refreshed website, new messaging, and paid media amplification to position TCC and the transportation construction industry as leading voices in the highway funding debate.
The results? In the campaign’s first two months, TCC and its members secured nearly 30 media hits, and Narrative equipped more than 400 TCC members with new advocacy resources during their May 2026 Congressional fly-in.

Bringing Clinical Trial Modernization Efforts to the Hill |
To celebrate Clinical Trials Day on May 20, Narrative supported Lilly’s Clinical Capabilities team in executing a full-scale Capitol Hill engagement, featuring the benefits of community-based clinical trials through a series of tailored creative assets.
Our work covered every element of the event, including:
- Designing all collateral, including invitations, more than 60 leave-behinds and their display labels, briefing documents, and an animated explainer that played on a loop during the event
- Capturing video interviews, B-roll, and footage across the D.C. area for a 90-second sizzle reel (internal note – the video cannot be shared publicly)
- Co-hosting a reception with The Hill at the Ronald Reagan Building, which featured two of Lilly's Mobile Research Units (MRUs) for attendees to receive personal tours
-
Building a content library of B-roll for Lilly to leverage for future engagements, social, and advocacy campaigns
Lilly's flagship Clinical Trials Day engagement demonstrated the benefits of meeting patients where they are. By distilling complex regulatory issues into impactful, tailored collateral, our work humanized the clinical trial experience and highlighted the obstacles many patients face when seeking to participate in a study. The Lilly team leveraged our work to clearly articulate the need for policy reforms that expand access to clinical trials.

The Most Expensive Branding Mistake Companies Make |
A refreshed brand can be a valuable step forward, but new visuals alone don’t create momentum. Without a clear brand strategy, rebrands are often just a way to look current.
Narrative’s Graphic Design Specialist Annie Bentley shares why strong rebrands leverage what already works.
Before starting over, organizations should ask themselves: Are we leading the conversation, or are we reacting? Can the audience tell us apart from competitors? Are we honoring what the brand has already built?
Read Annie’s article to learn whether your organization needs a rebrand or better brand management.
