We are pleased to share that Narrative is a finalist in the Crisis & Issue Management category at the 2026 PRovoke SABRE Awards for our work with Malaria No More. The SABRE Awards honor campaigns that exemplify strategic planning, creativity, and measurable impact. This recognition is a significant benchmark in the communications industry.
When President Trump signed an Executive Order in January 2025 instituting a 90-day pause in U.S. foreign aid, the President's Malaria Initiative, which has saved millions of lives, was at immediate risk. In response, Malaria No More launched an urgent effort to secure funding and advocate for the continuation of malaria aid.
Narrative developed a comprehensive strategy to reposition Malaria No More with conservative audiences and key decision-makers. We drafted and placed four op-eds in major outlets and engaged Dr. Robert Redfield, President Trump's former CDC Director, for TV and radio interviews to amplify the message. We also arranged for the Hudson Institute to host a policy event on malaria aid, featuring former Rep. Ted Yoho (R-FL), former Global Malaria Coordinator Ken Staley, and Arran Hope of The Jamestown Foundation. To reach the President's inner circle, we launched tailored digital ad campaigns that targeted key policy influencers and opinion leaders.
As a result, Narrative strengthened Malaria No More’s position with conservative audiences, distinguishing the organization among foreign aid NGOs during a critical period. We also helped preserve most malaria funding, and the program now operates under the State Department.
We are incredibly proud of the work and grateful for the trust our clients place in us. This recognition reflects our team's commitment to delivering work that moves the needle when it matters most.
