Dunn’s Promotion Reflects Significant Growth in Creative Services and Paid Media Offerings
Washington, D.C. – Narrative Strategies announced today that it has named Tom Dunn the firm’s newest partner. Dunn joined Narrative in 2022, launching the firm’s in-house creative services division that has grown substantially and now encompasses a full suite of video production, design, advertising, and digital marketing capabilities.
“Tom has built a creative services division that now produces award-winning advertising campaigns for some of the biggest companies and issue advocacy campaigns in the country,” said Narrative CEO and Founding Partner Ken Spain. “In an increasingly crowded media environment, Tom and his team have successfully collaborated with our clients to deliver creative and paid media strategies that cut through the noise and outperform the competition. We are excited to welcome Tom to the partnership table.”
Dunn has built a 20-year career in creative storytelling and strategic communications. Before joining Narrative, he was the Creative Director at OnMessage, Inc., where he spent a decade producing advertising for many of the country’s highest-profile and most contested political campaigns. He previously served as the Media Operations Director at the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), where he played a pivotal role in the historic 2010 election cycle, contributing to creating the ‘most viewed political video’ in the committee’s successful campaign to retake the majority.
Dunn has earned national accolades for his work, with more than 60 industry awards for ad-making and creative storytelling. Those include numerous awards for work done on behalf of Narrative clients, such as the Reed Awards by Campaigns & Elections, the Pollie Awards by the American Association of Political Consultants, and the Telly Awards. In 2019, he was also recognized by the American Association of Political Consultants as a member of their esteemed “40 Under 40” class. Dunn graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in political science and government and served on the university’s board of trustees from 2009 to 2016.
