Narrative and 535 News Launch Monthly Polling Partnership

New monthly series will track voter views on federal policy issues with implications for markets, regulation, and reputation.

Business leaders need sharper intelligence on how voters view the federal policy issues affecting markets, regulation, and reputation. Narrative Insights, Narrative’s in-house survey research function, is partnering with 535 News, a nonpartisan digital media platform covering federal policy and legislation, to produce a monthly national polling series on the issues moving through Washington.

Each month that Congress is in session, Narrative Insights will survey American voters on policy, economic, and reputational questions relevant to companies and their stakeholders. The series will help corporate affairs leaders and executives see where voter opinion stands, where it is shifting, and what it may mean for their organizations.

The partnership combines 535 News’ focus on federal policy with Narrative’s ability to translate voter opinion into business, communications, and reputation insight. The result is polling that gives leaders practical context for the decisions ahead.

“Public opinion is now a business input,” said Mark Keida, Partner and Head of Insights. “Companies need timely data and strategic context to understand how policy fights in Washington are landing with the voters who shape their operating environment.”

“535 News is focused on the policy conversations driving the federal agenda,” said Brody Mullins, Co-founder of 535 News. “Pairing that coverage with Narrative’s polling and analysis gives readers a clearer view of how those debates are resonating beyond Washington.”

The inaugural survey examines voter attitudes toward artificial intelligence, permitting reform, working-class representation, and other issues with direct implications for companies navigating policy change, public scrutiny, and stakeholder expectations.
