Former Congressional Management Foundation Vice President, House Chief of Staff, Senior Energy & Commerce Committee Advisor Brings Uncommon Cross-Sector Expertise to the Firm
Washington, D.C. – Narrative Strategies announced today that Jordan Davis has joined the firm as Managing Director, bringing a rare combination of senior Capitol Hill, national campaign, and public affairs agency experience to the firm’s leadership team. Davis most recently served as Vice President of Communications and Programming at the Congressional Management Foundation, where Davis led a comprehensive rebrand and strategic overhaul of the organization’s Capitol Hill–focused programming. Previously, Davis was a Senior Director at Purple Strategies, advising Fortune 100 companies and advocacy organizations on high‑stakes reputation, policy, and communications challenges.
“Jordan brings exactly the kind of multidimensional experience our clients need right now,” said Ken Spain, CEO and Founding Partner of Narrative Strategies. “Very few leaders possess the substantive policy expertise, have served on high-profile political campaigns, and counseled companies and CEOs on high-stakes strategic communications challenges. That combination gives Jordan an instinctive understanding of how policy is made, how campaigns shape the narrative, and how institutions and brands must engage in moments of real consequence.”
Davis brings deep Capitol Hill experience, having served as Senior Advisor to the House Energy & Commerce Committee under then‑Chairman Greg Walden (R‑OR). Earlier roles include Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to former Rep. Rick Berg (R‑ND), as well as legislative staff positions for former Rep. Thelma Drake (R‑VA).
A seasoned campaign professional, Davis played a senior role at the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) during multiple high‑stakes election cycles. Davis served as Legislative Research Director during the landmark 2010 cycle and later led the NRCC’s policy operation as Policy Director and Communications Advisor in the 2014 and 2016 cycles—bridging policy development, campaign messaging, and rapid‑response communications.
Davis holds a degree in political science from the University of Central Florida.
