Firm Also Adds Emily Krigsman and Sandeep Kumar as Associates
Washington, D.C. – Today, Narrative Strategies announced the addition of Samantha Martin as Senior Director, who brings over a decade of experience in financial services, strategic communications, and federal advocacy. Martin joins Narrative from FGS Global, where she was Director of Strategic Communications and previously held a senior communications role at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). Narrative also announced the hiring of Abbey Lower as Director, a longtime Republican National Committee staffer with significant corporate communications experience. The firm also added two new Associates, Emily Krigsman and Sandeep Kumar, as it continues to expand its premium account management capabilities.

Samantha Martin joins Narrative from FGS Global, where she spent the past three years leading public affairs campaigns for companies and trade associations. Prior to FGS Global, Martin helped lead a wide range of communications and external relations initiatives for SIFMA. Before working in public affairs, Martin was a federal lobbyist at Arnold & Porter and Squire Patton Boggs. Martin earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and business administration from Clemson University.
Abbey Lower joins Narrative after five years at the Republican National Committee, where she was most recently the Northeast and PAC Finance Director. She previously led communications for U.S. Representative Tom Reed’s (R-NY) re-election campaign. Before entering politics, Lower held corporate communications roles at global lifestyle brands PVH Corp. and Tommy Hilfiger, where she was responsible for message and brand development. Lower earned bachelor’s degrees in English and political science from Bucknell University.
Emily Krigsman comes to Narrative as an Associate from the Evoke Agency, where she worked directly with brands to drive their growth and profitability. Krigsman holds bachelor’s degrees in strategic communications and political science from the University of Wisconsin.
Sandeep Kumar joins Narrative as an Associate after interning at the Atlantic Council’s South Asia Center. He also launched his own geopolitical commentary platform, GeoPoliTakes. Kumar holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from the University of Richmond and a master’s in conflict resolution from Georgetown University.
