McHenry Lee
Senior Director
McHenry Lee is a Senior Director and founding staff member at Narrative, where he provides senior strategic counsel to Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, private equity firms, and coalitions across the financial services, healthcare, pharmaceutical, energy, manufacturing, technology, and sports sectors. He specializes in leading integrated advocacy campaigns and crisis communications efforts, helping clients navigate high-profile policy and business challenges, congressional and regulatory scrutiny, litigation, and sustained media attention.
Most recently, McHenry served as the interim head of communications for a major financial services trade association during a leadership transition, overseeing the organization’s communications strategy and advising senior leadership on reputational and media matters.
Before joining Narrative, McHenry was a Strategic Communications Manager at CGCN, where he managed communications and public affairs efforts for corporate and advocacy clients.
McHenry earned his master’s degree in political management from George Washington University and his bachelor’s degree with honors in political science from Johns Hopkins University. He also met his wife while they were working together at Narrative.
