Keenan Doheny is a public affairs expert with nearly a decade of experience in politics and communications. He possesses an analytical eye and a meticulous approach to challenges. His clients benefit from his ability to create an efficient team that can quickly get up to speed and tackle complex client situations, regardless of the issue. Keenan is skilled in utilizing various public sources, taking a comprehensive yet concise approach to inform clients as they navigate crises, reputational challenges, and brand management.

From strategic research to campaign development to scenario planning, Keenan provides his clients with the highest-quality service. When a major consumer products brand faced a reputational crisis, Keenan convened key internal stakeholders to align on a company-wide approach to address customer, employee, supplier, and investor issues. Keenan then led the effort to audit the company’s existing marketing campaign, identifying reputational challenges and providing solutions to reestablish trust following the crisis.

Prior to joining Narrative, Keenan served as a Senior Account Supervisor on the US Crisis & Risk team at Edelman in Washington, DC. Keenan also served as co-leader of Edelman’s Business Risk & Intelligence practice, which leveraged the team’s collective legal, political, and corporate experience to provide clients with competitive intelligence to inform decision-making. Before Edelman, he worked for Delve, where he helped political and corporate clients navigate high-profile issues, such as activist attacks, through in-depth research and crisis management tactics. Keenan also worked for the US Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and North Carolina-based law firms Womble Carlyle and Wall Babcock.

Keenan graduated from Wake Forest University in 2016 with History and Political Science degrees. His favorite activities include skiing, golfing, and wishing he could spend more time with his family’s black lab, Skye.
