FIRST IN PI — NARRATIVE STRATEGIES ADDS A DEMOCRAT
Narrative Strategies, the strategic communications firm started last year by Ken Spain, Patrick O’Connor and Ed Mullen, is adding a Democrat ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration. Jill Farquharson, the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee’s Democratic communications director, will join the firm as director. Farquharson is a longtime aide to Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.) — the committee’s ranking member — ran Carper’s 2018 reelection campaign and worked in his Senate office. Narrative now has a staff of 20, including two recently hired associates, Karin Scott and Madeleine Burke.
