WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, Narrative Strategies announced the addition of financial policy expert Bryan Bashur as Director. Bashur, who comes to Narrative from Americans for Tax Reform, brings a wide range of experience building advocacy strategies around private equity, private credit, interchange fees, bank capital requirements, cryptocurrency, and mergers and acquisitions, and is a recognized industry voice who has been featured in prominent publications such as The Hill, Washington Times, Townhall, RealClearMarkets, and American Banker. The firm also announced the hiring of Chance Nyi as an Accountant, Caroline Doran as a Senior Associate, and Hannah Lewis, Frances Noll, and Abby Romano as Associates.

At Americans for Tax Reform, Bashur most recently served as Director of Financial Policy, playing a crucial role in driving the organization’s strategies and messaging on financial policy, tax issues, and regulatory reform. While at ATR, Bashur also served as Executive Director of the Shareholder Advocacy Forum, advocating for legislative and regulatory proposals that opened access to capital for investors. He previously worked as a policy staffer for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX). He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
Chance Nyi has joined the firm’s finance team from Wellington Management, where she worked in accounting and human resources. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Bentley University.
Before joining Narrative as a Senior Associate, Caroline Doran was a foreign policy research assistant at the Embassy of Ireland in Washington, D.C. She graduated from New York University.
Hannah Lewis, a University of Alabama graduate, joins Narrative after serving as a press assistant in the office of U.S. Representative Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ).
Following their internships at Narrative, Frances Noll and Abby Romano have joined the team full-time as Strategic Communications Associates. Before Narrative, Noll interned at Apex Clean Energy and earned her bachelor’s degree from Wofford College. Romano previously served as a recruiter at Andrews & Cole and earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary.
